i thought i`d just post some pictures of my parents`house. not for any reason other than it`s calming and pretty, and you know, i like that...
actually, emily, my sister took these pictures. she`s a nightmare at a lot of things, but for some reason, she`s amazing at photographing objects (NOT PEOPLE).
another way to tell that i didn`t take these pictures is that they were taken as the sun was coming UP. i`m not alive then. emily remarked on tuesday that if parties took place at 6am, she`d be sooooo boss. but as it stands, emily sleeps through most parties because they are scheduled for after 9pm.
a path my pop made when they moved in a few years ago for walks in the back yard. there are several options and paths to take but they all end up at the same place eventually, the house. but this affords us variation in our walks. isn`t he sweet? oh pop. he's taken us camping his whole life, and it always ends in tragedy. he's an 'EAGLE SCOUT' although there seems to be no way to prove this because his box with his proof got "lost" when we moved back from new orleans. whether he's falling down the rapids with one hand in the air yelling "don't come down here, stay where you are", burning his toes in the fire or ripping a toenail off jumping into a lake with a rock-bottom (lots of foot trauma), chopping down firewood with an 'axe' (hammer), or getting completely separated from the rest of the group, it's always a good time... well when we get back and can laugh about it.
that's one of the dogs eating the apples. this picture looks like it came directly from the 70's.
more paths.
stump.
dewey branches.
thank jebus it's summery out. i can't imagine going through my recent traumas in the dead of winter. it'd be the dead of sarah...
